Checked this out and loved the story, down to the details of the National Guard rallying together to put this one out. Had no idea about the number of combat wounds in Oxford or even the *kinetic* aspect of this.
To add to comment I just made about blogs, here's a good example of synergy as opposed to an either-or between blogs and newspapers -- the NYT does the hard job and the actual reporting, but when it catches a blogger's eye, he posts and then a wave of people that would never have seen it in the first place take a look. For me, this is a good example of that process at work..
