Learned Something New

I was responding to a comment on one of my earlier posts and one thing lead to another and when I went to preview the comment I got this message:

Your HTML cannot be accepted: Must be at most 4,096 characters

Aha.

So, I had to prune back my words.  Many have made the comparison between the length of writing and the time committed, as noted at this blog post.  Several versions are presented at the link, but I like best the first comment:

Perfection is attained, not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

But then Saint-Exupéry is a fellow pilot.
