Over at the Blog Gates of Vienna we have a post on the building of a Mosque in Tromsø, Norway. Turns out that the Norwegian Government, using a quirk in the law, has said that the Mosque proposed for Tromsø can be built once a Christian Church is built in Saudi Arabia, a major source of funding for the Tromsø Mosque.

Boggles my mind how ashamed many remain of our greatest strength--that we embrace ALL who swear allegiance to our Constitution and way of life. So many people these days are stuck pointing at the lack of similar examples in the world, (and crowing about silly legal semantics such as this), instead of standing up with pride to say that WE are the better example the world so desperately needs, and that everyone else is proving themselves to be cowards by failing to live up to that example.
