I had just recently posted on NASA finding life that is based on arsenic rather than phosphate as part of its DNA. I thought it was very interesting. Then there was this cartoon, by xkcd, which was linked to by Happy Catholic, down in the Dallas, Texas, area.
Warning xkcd sometimes has humor that is not suitable for little children or mixed company.

The guy behind XKCD, Randall Monroe, has a serious illness in the family at the moment. Because he was unable to keep up his 3x a week posting schedule, he took on some guest comics. He managed to land Bill Amend of Foxtrot fame. Internet-only comics are apparently now legitimate!

Corey is right about the illness in the family, which is sad. And Bill Amend is very funny and has the right scientific/mathematical bent to his humor.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Corey.
