The Rebel Army in Libya

Well, not really an Army.  Why did the American Revolution take so long?  Part of the reason is that it takes a couple of years to build an army.

From The New Yorker a short report on the Rebel Army in Libya.

Does anyone have a pool going on how long this will last?

  1. It will last more or less until Obama can get reelected.

  2. Are we now as the French? Prancing around as if in/and of an affinity of/for liberty? However their presense was successful ending our Revolution.

  3. I do think their fleet and their army made a difference, and the cost helped bring on their own revolution.  Forget I said that.  I heard George S, over at ABC, used the words "Mission Accomplished".

  4. Easy for George S. to say, since almost nobody in the entire world knew/knows what was/is the mission. Obama sure didn't describe it definitively. In fact, the only thing he really described last night was how wonderful a humanitarian he is...but then...what can you expect from a Nobel Peace Prize winner...and a community organizer?
