Connecticut Shooting
For John, BLUF: Horrific. Say a prayer and move on for now.
The shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, was so horrific that there is nothing to say about it at this time it except to say how sad it is for all the survivors.
It seems most of the politcal opinions spouted off, so far, were all proconceived, kneejerk talking points that don't account for any of the specifics of this event.
I think it would be reasonable to take two weeks to let the shock wear off and allow the families to take care of some very tender business.
As more details come out, the early knee-jerkers are being exposed for being way too quick to speak authoritatively about a situation they did not yet understand.
