GOP Re-Groups

According to The [Lowell] Sun, Senator Jim DeMint is, effective 1 January, resigning his seat and heading over to the Heritage Foundation.  The money quote:
Republican Gov. Nikki Haley gets to appoint his successor to the Senate.
Yes, Senator DeMint was a Tea Party kind of guy.
