Is de facto Amnesty Legal?

For John, BLUFTo deport or to not deport.  That is the question.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Per The Washington Time, a Federal Judge in Arizona has set today for the Federal Government and lawyers for the plaintiffs, the immigration agents, to provide additional data for a final decision by the Judge, regarding:

Federal Judge Reed O'Connor said in a court order Tuesday [23 April] that Congress, not the president, sets priority for arresting illegal immigrants, and said the law requires them to be put in deportation proceedings.
Here is the reason for the delay.
The order is not a final ruling.  Judge O'Connor said he still needs more information from both the administration and the immigration agents about whether the agents had another avenue to protest the policy rather than to go to court.
I look forward to learning more.

  1. Only in America could we have a Federal judge wanting more information about whether a Federal law should be enforced or ignored. Alice in Wonderland would be amazed. Can it possibly get more bizarre? What other society on earth...or the history of man finding themselves in debt to the tune of....oh....say....$17T be rabidly pursuing giving illegal immigrants INSTANT citizenship at an additional national cost of about $9.5T....giving us a nice round total of nearly $27T in instant debt?

Is this a GREAT country or what???
