First Amendment in New York State

For John, BLUFNew York State is a little more careless than most regarding the Bill of Rights.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

The New York Post suggests that the New York State Board of Elections has implemented draconian Emergency Regulations on political speech.
Intended to regulate spending by independent groups during campaign season, the regulations are so expansive that almost anyone, citizen or organization, hoping to have their say on any issue could find themselves in bureaucratic dire straits.
This article includes potential examples.  The headline is "New York’s ‘shut up’ rule".

Hat tip to the Instapundit.
