For John, BLUF: Vindicating one's rectitude often takes time. The truth is out there, somewhere. Nothing to see here; just move along.
The past continues to be with us. Former Department of Agriculature Administrator Shirley Sherrod resigned from her Government position four years ago due to revelations by the late Andrew Breitbart about a talk given by Ms Sherrod. The initial reaction was that she had crossed the line and was asked to resign. Then the full video surfaced, which changed the view of the talk and then she was asked to stay. She said no.
At any rate, Ms Sherrod sued Mr Breitbart and it was going well, but now it turns out that the White House was involved in how her case was handled. According to Writer J. Christian Adams of the PJ Tatler, the data dump has created a situation wherein she either loses traction or has to pull the White House into her suit.
Hat tip to the Instapundit.
