Rape and Sexual Assaut have become big issues out there.  And areas of contention.  The mixing of college actions and local government action is part of the problem.  Then there is the issue of the psychological issues of the victim, or alleged victim.  There was even a Professor Wendy Murphy OpEd in The Boston Globe Tuesday, explaining Title IX vs criminal law.

So as I understand it, Atticus Finch is now the bad guy in To Kill A Mockingbird, because he doubted a story about rape.
