How Did Government Do in 2014?

For John, BLUF:  I think Congress did OK last year—we got a budget passed.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Way back in 2014, the 23rd of December to be specific, Mr George Packer wrote in The New Yorker about 2014—"A Pretty Good Year for Government".

Mr Packer sings the praises of Government and thinks that DC has delivered a pretty good package for 2014.
