In The New York Times this last week was Ms Abigail Zuger, M.D. reviewing Author Steven Brill's nook America’s Bitter Pill:  Money, Politics, Backroom Deals, and the Fight to Fix Our Broken Healthcare System, his "Anatomy of a Health Care Mess".

I expect the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is pretty unreadable, so here is a chance to get an outsider's view on how we got to this point—a point where the promises of health care for all are still not fulfilled.

So many books, so little time.
