From The Daily Mail we have an interesting article on the thinking of Daesh.♠  The person who forwarded this item included the following quote from Voltaire:

I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one:  'O Lord make my enemies ridiculous.'  And God granted it.

But, moving on, here is the headline:

ISIS bans pigeon breeding - punishable by public flogging - because seeing birds' genitals overhead offends Islam

Fair enough, I guess.  It is probably a good thing the Passenger Pigeon is extinct.
