For John, BLUF: It will be interesting to watch Hunny Bunny work her way out of this corner. Nothing to see here; just move along.
In The Washington Examiner we have "Trump corrects NBC: Clinton, Lewinsky affair not 'alleged'".
Frankly, the News Readere, Savannah Guthrie, was just confused, at one point saying alleged and at another point "admitted".
"Today" show host Savannah Guthrie gave former President Bill Clinton the benefit of the doubt on Tuesday, by saying his affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky was "alleged."The real point is not that Ms Guthrie, a lawyer who looks like she belongs on Fox, misspoke, but that the Honorable Mrs Clinton should not be talking war on women until she cleans up her own mess. How can she be President for half the population if she is an enabler of sexual exploitation?Guthrie made the blunder while asking presidential candidate Donald Trump about his argument that Clinton's sex scandal was fair game if Hillary Clinton continues to argue that Trump is a sexist.
"You mention Monica Lewinsky," Guthrie asked. "Are you saying an alleged extra-marital affair, that of course he has now admitted, is that fair game?"
"Is it alleged? I don't think that's alleged," Trump pounced.
Hat tip to the InstaPundit.
