For John, BLUF: Never hold grudges. A lot of folks out there are capable of tremendous personal growth. Nothing to see here; just move along.
Somehow I got an the EMail list for In & Out. It seems to be about how the bien pensant view the world. But, today's quote at the top of the EMail is this little gem from Ms Jane Fonda.
"We're not meant to be perfect. It took me a long time to learn that."I see this as a solid Christian way to look at life. We don't earn our way into heaven by how well we act, but by our willingness to accept Jesus into our life. The Evangelical phrase is "Accept Jesus as our personal Savior." For Catholics it is an act of acceptance, the act of taking Communion. How more practically can one show that one accepts Jesus?-Jane Fonda
Kudos to Ms Fonda, who, in a few words, points us in the proper direction.
You can sign up for the Daily In & OutEMail here.
Regards — Cliff
PS: Happy Birthday, Ms Fonda.
