Overnight my Brother-in-Law, Edward (Mic) McDonald, passed away, quietly in his sleep.
When we last saw him, a few weeks ago, he was still up and about and chipper, reading a novel about Nazi Occupied France.
Mic lived a full and productive life. He was from Janesville, Wisconsin, and graduated from Purdue University as a Pharmacist. He had a career in drug sales with Eli Lilly, including an assignment at their "staff college". Later he helped form a startup company that tested blood gases during operations. The company sold to 3M and Mic bought a trawler, Pendragon, and Summered in Seattle and Wintered in Laguna.
Mic is survived by his wife and two daughters, and, of course, my wife.
Regards — Cliff
