For John, BLUF: The Democrats running for the Presidential nomination in 2020 seem to have a leftward drift. Some more than others. Even Speaker Pelosi seems to recognize it. Nothing to see here; just move along.
This morning my wife summed up the political situation:
Trump is the best Democrat running.Yes, I think that is correct.
Not that it is a bad thing, when you think back to some of the Democrats when President Trump was young, like Harry S Truman, JFK or Hubert H Humphrey.
