For John, BLUF: Yes, this is a year and a half old, but it i timely. Besides, I just found this site. Nothing to see here; just move along.
Here is the sub-headline:
From Ethics Alarms, by Blogger Jack Marshall, 30 October 2019.
Here is the lede:
Richard Stengel, a frequent contributor on MSNBC, a former editor of Time magazine, and the State Department’s undersecretary for public diplomacy and public affairs in the Obama administration from 2013 to 2016 wrote this embarrassing, anti-free speech screed. At The Washington Post.
Why is this even a question?
Should this talk of limited free speech not just be flatly condemned by every red blooded American?
One of the images I have in my mind about the National Socialist era in Germany, aside from Kristallnacht (Crystal Night), is the book burnings. A terrible civic action.
