The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Six (Seven) Suggestions for the New Congress

For John, BLUFIt might benefit you also.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Law Professor and Blogger Glenn Harlan Reynolds has another column up in USA Today.  It is "6 bills the GOP should pass".  I agree with each one of the six.

However, given that seven is the perfect number, I would add another, which while it would be controversial, would be a good idea from the point of view of economics and Government Financing.  Reduce the Corporate Income Tax.  Call it The Burger King Act.  Here is CNN, back in August, on corporate taxes, including the fact that the US Corporate Rate is the highest in the developed world.

Passing the "Burger King Act" would stimulate the economy and it would result in increased taxes over time.  Or, we could just continue to run up the Federal Debt at the current rate.

Hat tip to the Instapundit.
