Reacting to Rush

For John, BLUFDidn't someone once admonish us to love our enemies?  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Posted at InstaPundit, by Writer Ed Driscoll, 3 February 2020.

Here is the Post:

AN ARROGANCE JUSTIFIED BY NOTHING:  “As Harvard law professor Adrian Vermuele noted after watching Wilson, Lemon, and Ali in action [on CNN], ‘It’s perfectly rational for ordinary Americans to reject any possibility that this class should rule them, even if the alternative is Donald Trump.’”

Related:  CNN’s Reza Aslan responds to the horrific news that Rush Limbaugh was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer by tweeting, “Ask yourself this simple question:  is the world a better place or a worse place with Rush Limbaugh in it?”

UPDATE (FROM GLENN): Compare:

Tulsi Gabbard 🌺
@TulsiGabbard
To Rush Limbaugh:  I and my family send our love and best wishes to you and your loved ones at this difficult moment in your life.  May your hearts and minds be filled with and strengthened by God's love.
Tulsi has gotten more support — or at least grudging likes — from the right than her actual politics suggest she should, and there have been explanations ranging from her comparative hotness to her willingness to diss Hillary.  But I think it’s also that she’s not constantly displaying the rather icky tropes of America’s anointed class.  Instead, she seems like an actual human being.
Yes.  I like Rep Tulsi Gabbard, because she acts like a genuine, nice person.  I trust her to make good decisions, made with a good heart.

Beto Exploits El Paso Tragedy

For John, BLUFNothing shows what a good President you would be like exploiting a national tragedy for personal political gains.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

A blog post at InstaPundit, by Author Sarah Hoyt, 6 August 2019.

Did anyone read the manifesto of the El Paso shooter?

The Dayton shooter?

Acceptable News Information

For John, BLUFAs Army Counsel Joseph Welch asked, "Have you no sense of decency, sir?".  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Just now, on Democracy Now, the Host, Ms Amy Goodman, engaged in cheap gossip with regard to some Congressman.  Talking about someone's sex life, someone's acts of infidelity, doesn't add to any debate, unless the topic is infidelity, and even then, to expose the errors of another in such an area seems so tacky.  I guess I expected more.
