Princess Leia Organa is against the Tea Party movement. Well, at least Actress Carrie Fisher.
Here she is being interviewed♠ and at the end she is asked about the Tea Party Movement. She responds that she doesn't like it and thinks it is wrong and racist (that was a prompted error).
What is Star Wars if it is not the Tea Party Movement, in the future, writ large and gone to war? And who is leading the whole thing in Episode I? Prince Leia Organa.
And what is it with various Tea Parties supporting "minority" candidates, and in all places, in South Carolina?
Oh Lord, shelter our paradigms under your wing, lest we be force to confront the truth.
Regards — Cliff
PS: The Tea Party Movement does not have to go to war, unlike Princes Leia, since Rahm Emanual is no Darth Vader.
♠ The interview was to sell her new book Wishful Drinking

Methinks Princess Leia drinks too much....along with the rest of her glitterati associates. She, and all of her SAGites are proof of the presence of a parallel universe.
Tailgunner Joe, where are you when we need you the most? Just think, with Joe back at work, how much more objective, relevant, reliable, and valid would be the little things in life...like the Evening News....or the local paper.
In the end, and with regard to the Tea Party and its legion of panicky detractors, it comes down to one defining and transcendent question, "Who gets to run one's life; the government or the individual?" And spare me the blather about how we all have choices under the current admin and the party that elected him. As long as your choices "comply" you have freedom of choice. It is a sort of Rube Goldberg form of "You can have any color Ford you like, as long as it's black."
Oh....and for our "progressive" friends out there, you don't have to say it, I KNOW that for all of you, the role of Darth Vader is played by George Bush....or is it the other way around????
Hollywood opinions don't bother me much, but I know they have money to contribute to campaigns.
