It is becoming a mantra over at the Ann Althouse blog.
This post from Professor Althouse captures my question. Where is the transcript?
I wanted to read about Ms Kagan's response to the question from Senator Cronyn about the Tenth Amendment. I had seen a reference to it and then nothing.
On the other hand, there is the case of Senator Hatch asking the nominee if she had written a specific memo and apparently after several follow-ups she gave him: "The document is certainly in my handwriting." At least that is what one commenter reports.
So, where is the transcript.

Personally, I think I prefer Bork. The confirmation stage play being held in DC should disgust every American. Why even bother to take the time for this charade, other than it being something to distract the band of Senatorial gadflies from making horrible laws? One would think that for such a powerful position there would be a little more effort at discovery and decision making. One of the questions asked was "Why do you want to be a Supreme Court Justice?" Apparently, the question is largely rhetorical because the answer was never made public...not that the answer matters.
This charade is just one more example of the bankruptcy that is the US Congress in concert with the current Administration. But then, I guess it is a little bit better than life in Putinville.
