The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Progress in the Holy Land?

For John, BLUFI think President Trump is actually making progress in resolving the problems in the Holy Land  and the Palestinians are not all happy about it.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

From PJ Media, by Mr David P Goldman, 31 August 2018.

Here is the lede:

President Trump appears to have undertaken a revolution in Middle Eastern diplomacy.  Reportedly, the United States will eliminate refugee status for the descendants of Palestinian refugees of 1948, the only group of people anywhere in the world to inherit refugee status.  The U.S. also reportedly will eliminate funding for UNRWA, the only UN agency dedicated to a single group of refugees, namely the Palestinian Arabs.
I guess the alternative is to declare that all those people crossing our border from the South will always be refugees and insist on their right—and responsibility—to someday return from whence they came.

Hat tip to the InstaPundit.
