The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Choosing Amongst Candidates

For John, BLUFThe problem with politics is that the candidates may offer you what you want on issue "A", but be opposed to your position on issue "K".  The voter needs to take a whole person view of each candidate.  One voting option might be a third party, or a write-in, as a signal of dissatisfaction.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Ms Behar is an extreme example of single issue voting.

I wonder her position if the pro-abortion candidate was anti-Press Freedom?

From Life Site News, by Mr Scott Whitlock, 6 Jan 2016.

Do you think Ms Nina Burleigh feels the same way?

My thought is that voting is a duty, and it includes the duty to be informed.  Informed not just on one issue, but on many issues.  Look with pity on those who think only the informed should vote.  They will eventually define informed as "thinking like I think".

Hat tip to the InstaPundit.
