The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Connections and First Things

A hat tip to Instapundit

I found this a very interesting article out of the on-line journal, Asia Times.  This is the coming out of "Spengler," a pseudonym for Dr David P Goldman, now associate editor of First Things.

Dr Goldman talks about culture in this article and in particular about Western Culture and the trouble it is in.

An interesting read.
