The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

They Are Pulling the Plug

Over at Buzz Feed the end has been declared.
It's January 31st and it’s over.  Mitt Romney has blown away the field in the Florida primary and is now the de facto Republican 2012 nominee for president.

So what does everyone do?  Huge armies of "embeds" and reporters and producers and “analysts” and bloggers and talking heads have been amassed to cover the campaign.  They work at cable television networks, broadcast networks, web-sites, magazines, newspapers and radio stations.  And they have been spending money faster than all those dreary people in accounting can count it.
It's all about the money.  At least according to Columnist John Ellis.

But, William Kristol thinks it isn't over yet.

This is not going to end well.

Mitt's corporate backers are paying through the nose for his 'sparring practice.' While Obama amasses a war chest waiting for the GOP's bloodied nominee.

The longer Mitt poses as a conservative to win a primary, the harder it will be for him to flip-flop into a moderate for the general election.

Which is amazing, as Mitt has the flip-flop thing down pat.

I like Ron Paul's speech regarding the next phase of the campaign: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=PQajHV7eL0o

Phrase of the day for Ron Paul and his supporters....."entrenched interests." And those are definitely bipartisan. It really doesn't matter who is the Pres......those interests are going to drive what happens in the US. It always has....it always will.....money is power and power talks......why do you think the Unions are so heavily supporting the incumbent....but if he messes with their current status....he'll get a clear message..."you're done."

Just follow the money. BTW.....anyone look at who is running the fiscal side of the US Government today?? The same folks who were running Wall Street under the second half of Bush.....Doesn't ANYONE find it curious that the Sec of the Treasury was the watchdog during the WS crash???

Its like across the river at the 5 sided fart factory......the same names keep appearing and reappearing....and when they are "out" they are just on the other side of the table.....

It is all one huge magnificent ballet....put on for all of us great unwashed.
