The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Air Force Academy News

For John, BLUFIndependent investigators can sometimes become a law unto themselves.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

From the Colorado Springs Gazette we have a longish article on "Air Force Informant Program".  The subtitle is "A secretive Air Force program recruits academy students to inform on fellow cadets and disavows them afterward".

From the uniforms in the first photo you can guess they are talking about the Air Force Academy.  However, this isn't so much about the Air Force Academy as it is about the Air Force Office of Special Investigation (OSI) and its methods.  The OSI is independent of the chain of command, with the benefits and problems inherent in such a program.

In this case it may be more problems than benefits.

The Uniforms were designed by Hollywood Producer Cecil B DeMille.
Yes, I think this investigation program has derailed like a train out of Yonkers at the Spuyten Duyvil bend.
