From my time living in Europe I learned about the Cartoon Asterix.  One of the two authors has passed on, but the other, Mr Albert Uderzo, 87, has come out of retirement to allow his character, Asterix, and his friend Obelix, and their pet dog, Dogmatix, to pay tribute to the work of the cartoonists at Charlie Hebdo.

Thanks to the Daily Mail for letting us know, and thanks to Mr Uderzo for caring.
