To be frank, it often looks like The Cipher Brief is part of the "take down Trump" crowd, but this item seems fairly balanced.

This look at how China may view the United States was provided by Mr Michael J Morell, former Acting Director of the CIA, speaking as the mythical Mr Wang Yong, an Analyst at the Chinese Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, the analytic arm of the Ministry of State Security,.

It is a pretty interesting look at both the US and China.
