Abortion to Rescue President Biden

For John, BLUFNo wonder Democrats are indifferent to those Americans left behind in Afghanistan, given their lack of any interest in the unborn terminated for convenience.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Here is the sub-headline:

"... his handling of Afghanistan following a chaotic withdrawal.  Biden’s ratings for handling the economy also have declined, from 52 percent positive in April to 45 percent in the latest survey."

From the Ann Althouse Blog, by Professor Ann Althouse, 5 September 2021.

Professor Althouse has fun with the Opinion Piece from The Washington Post, and well she should.&nbp; Aside from misquoting Scripture, Opinion Writer Kathleen Parker ("Opinion:  The Supreme Court rides to Biden’s rescue") seems to be celebrating the idea of unborn children being killed.  Abortion will pull up President Biden's poll numbers.

Here is the money paragraph:

I support abortion rights, but there's something terribly wrong about exulting over the partisan advantages to be wrung from abortion as a political issue.  Yay, for us!  Rainbows!  It's a grim matter of death and destruction.  It's in horrible taste — at the very least — to say after all the suffering in Afghanistan and from covid, the hurricane, and the fires, it's so great to get back to good old abortion, where we can stir up the old-time hysteria and rile up the voters the way we've been doing it for 50 years.
The rainbow comes from the citation of the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse, from the Book of Revelation.

So, opposition to the Texas Fetal Heartbeat abortion law, and the US Supree Court's refusal to strike it down in its crib, will stir up the voters and return President Biden, a nominal Roman Catholic, to high poll numbers?

Commentor Gilbar notes that per polling by the Susan B. Anthony List:

The Democratic Party’s radical position of unlimited access to abortion funded by taxpayer dollars is shared by only 7% of Millennials.
Hat tip to the InstaPundit.
