The last paragraph:
If Obama plays it right, a defeat for his health-care reform effort could actually move him closer to reelection — giving him another four years to make major advances in health-care coverage, quality and cost. And, he has two broad options in responding. He can make it 1936 all over again or he can focus on "helping the people achieve their goals".
Hat tip to Hot Air.

I think it is "heads or tails, we lose" unless of course, by some miracle along the lines of an immaculate conception the conservatives can regain control of the Senate and maintain control of the house. At the Presidential level, either flavor will be a bad choice as the pundits are right, the delta between Obama and Romney is measured in exceedingly small degrees.
The American people continue to insist on more for less.....and that will spell disaster. Nothing has been done at all to stop our frenetic piling up of debt and in fact, a number of initiatives are afoot to actually increase the spending.....and the taxing......and the government control. The phrase used in the runup to the SCOTUS review of the ACA should send shivers down the spines of the population, "plenary police power." Look for it soon.
