For John, BLUF: Protecting the rights of the prisoner are more important. Once that goes, no one is safe.
The Beeb has an article out of its Washington Bureau on the late Tamerlan Tsarnaev, noting he "had right-wing extremist literature." The BBC Reporter is Ms Hilary Andersson. In 2005 she was one of the winners of the Amnesty International UK Media Awards.
I read the article and I am not sure it adds anything to our understanding. I have, somewhere on my desk, Rules for Radicals and Milestones. The first doesn't make me a member of the radical left and the second doesn't make me a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
But yet, we need to understand the two brothers and especially the older brother. I fear the Federal Court proceedings will obscure more than illuminate.
Does anyone see it differently?

And we both have "Left in Lowell" on our browser histories.
When trying to fix something, I prefer to study something that works, rather than something that's broken. I fear that by focusing on our sociopaths, we are missing opportunities to understand better how to turn out more and more successful, well-adjusted folks.
Good point about accentuating the positive.
