The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Gun Law Madness

For John, BLUFThis is just cheap politics.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

Well, it is The Washington Examiner, but still…"Dems blame GOP, Ryan, 'aiding, abetting terrorists' by rejecting gun control".  The Reporter is Mr Paul Bedard.

Just hours after news broke of a mass shooting in San Bernadino, Calif., Democratic and anti-gun groups moved swiftly to blame Republicans.

Democracy for America Executive Director Charles Chamberlain called the shooting of at least 28 in the city east of Los Angeles terrorism and blamed easy gun accessibility. He said that because Republicans, and specifically Speaker Paul Ryan, "refuse to stand up to the NRA," then they are complicit with the killers.

"When Paul Ryan and the entire Republican party refuse to stand up to the NRA and the gun industry and pass common sense gun reforms, they are aiding and abetting those terrorists. Period," said Chamberlain.

Do these people really believe that terrorists don't have access to guns outside the normal commercial enterprises in the US?  Do these people really believe that if we had a gun ban in the US that terrorists would not be able to obtain guns for their nefarious purposes?  To paraphrase former US Rep Barney Frank, "On what plant do they live on."

These are not serious folks.

Hat tip to the InstaPundit.
