Liberal outrage leads to 'Monday Night Massacre' of resignations from senior Democratic staff

Here is the lede:

Democrats are in "complete chaos" after internal arguments about the lack of diversity in leadership led to the resignations of six senior staff members from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Out the door is Chairwoman Cheri Bustos (D-IL), who was one of the people who helped the Democrats win back the US House of Representative in 2018.  The story is poor leadership, but the sub-story is lack of diversity.  In the end, it always gets back to lack of leadership.
