The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Radical Republican

Well, here is an idea for honor a real radical Republican.

But, then each of us in the Republican Party has to pick his or her own heroes.  On the other hand, that should be part of what being a Republican means—picking your own heroes.

The conversion of the Republican party from anti-slavery (i.e. progressive) activism to anti-voting rights act conservatism (e.g. leading attempts not to extend the act's provisions in 2006) makes "radical republicanism" an oxymoron and an extremely bad joke.

Pretending to be for small government, libertarianism and states rights, while campaigning most loudly to empower the government to enforce conservative social morality, betrays a hypocrisy of profound proportions.

The better recommendation would be to repudiate government-sponsored creationism and the like, and focus on reforming government, not citizens' lives.
