For John, BLUF: "Every solution breeds new problems"—Arthur Block.
At The International Herald Tribune is an article on the congestion problems in The Netherlands.
What keeps Mr Thomas Koorn, of Amsterdam’s Transport and Traffic Department, awake at night?
We have a real parking issue. That would be bicycle parking. The title of the article is "The Dutch Prize Their Pedal Power, but a Sea of Bikes Swamps Their Capital".

Ahh...but is that to be filed under "nice problem to have?" I know we're set up differently, so it's not an easy comparison..but if we could magically replace more cars with bikes, that's a move against obesity, congestion, and high fuel prices..
