With this lash-up you can zoom in to see Yo Yo Ma using his cell phone to take a picture of the President (he is behind the President, so on the left). You can also check the tag number on a fire extinguisher to the left rear of the US Marine Corps band. It is really interesting.
My source, my Brother-in-Law, got it from his high school buddy, who had this to say:
Zoom in ('double-click' an area) ....and watch it focus. Then zoom some more... and wait for focus.Regards -- Cliff
This picture was taken with a robotic camera and weighs in at 1,474 megapixel. (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera). It was a Canon that pulled together over 200 individual shots.
Each zoom-in takes a second to focus ... and then you can see some amazing reactions.

This is a great picture of the Obama Inaguration. The angle also makes me appreciate my own seat at the Clinton 1993 event. Attending an Inauguration is a memorable experience.
I was looking again at the photo and saw that it was indeed 200 photos put together masterfully.
If you start at the bottom of the photo, near the right edge, you will see a metal fence--it looks permanent. And beyond it, behind rows of people, is a short stone wall.
In the second row of that crowd behind the fence, about 11 in from the aisle, counting to the right, is a (I presume) woman in a white and black hat with earflaps and a little tassle on the top that is about 6 inches long. She is wearing a white coat and is holding up a camera to take a picture.
Look closely. She is holding the camera with two hands, yet her right arm is down and her right hand is in her lap. I think this is a point of overlap and a difference in time between two of the 200 photos.
I should have been a PI--a Photo Interpreter. But, I did the next best thing. I have a son who was a PI for a while and was part of the crew that uncovered some of the mass killings in the former Yugoslavia. It makes you proud when your children grow up and make a contribution.
