"I think the people on the Democratic side made a big mistake and the funding thing was a big deal," Frank told The Hill Wednesday afternoon, alluding to Republicans' big cash advantage in the race. "My side picked a fight they shouldn't have picked. The recall was upsetting to people, the rerun of the election with [Democratic Milwaukee Mayor] Tom Barrett — it's not a fight I would have picked."And Rep Frank is a pretty scrappy politician.

To which I would ask, where was Mr. Frank and his opinion when the first hind-sighted mistakes were first being made?
Wyatt Cenac had a brilliant piece on the Daily Show this past Tuesday night when he properly ridiculed both the recall proponents, as well as their equally inane opposition.
The problem is the politics of opposition. Nobody, not Scott Walker, and not anyone arguing about his incumbency, has the first concern for the consequences of their blind and insatiable appetite for opposing their opposition for no better reason than they're opposed to them.
