Secondly, all this talk about Chief Justice John Roberts being driven by public opinion, or the mainstream media, or by the dinner party circuit in Northwest Washington is unseemly. Even if any of the three were true, it is not something we would want to talk about in front of the children, or anyone else.
Maybe it is just that Chief Justice Roberts is plowing a new row.
And, I really like his comment in the decision,
It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.That is the bad thing, and the good thing, about our system.
