For John, BLUF: Most transparent Administration in history. Nothing to see here; just move along.
I blogged about the Administration going after NJ senator Bob Menendez back on 10 March. Now it is reality. The 65 page indictment (14 Counts of Corruption) has dropped. IRS Person Lois Lerner?♠ Not so much. From The Hill:
The Justice Department won’t charge Lois Lerner, the former IRS official who first acknowledged the agency’s improper scrutiny of Tea Party groups, with contempt of Congress. The news of both hit about the same time. The difference wasn't just the outcome, but the fact that the Senator was opposing President Obama's course in negotiating with Iran and Ms Lerner was covering up the Administration's use of the IRS to harass certain Republican leaning organizations.
For me Attorney General Eric Holder has been the biggest disappointment of this Administration.
Hat tip to the Instapundit.
UPDATE: Time Correction.
