The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Need to Take A Peek At Europe


For John, BLUF:  Let us help Europe not get into trouble.  Nothing to see here; just move along.


From The Weekly Standard we have Mssers Gary Schmitt and Jeffrey Gedmin on the need for the US to be engaged in Europe, to have a strategy, "How to End Putinism".

The edition is 17 August 2015.

By the way, Viet-nam aside, most nations do not hold a favorable view of either Russia or President Putin.  PEW Research Center.  And, around the world, People have more confidence in President Obama than in President Putin.
