The Good News is that The [Lowell] Sun put up a very short item on the Lowell Republican City Committee meeting tomorrow (Thursday).  Page 5 of the Wednesday edition.

LOWELL -- The Lowell City Republican Committee will meet Thursday at the VFW on Plain Street, beginning at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.  Plenty of political discussions will take place, said Cliff Krieger, the organization's chairman.  He said all are invited to participate.  "We welcome converts, not heretics," he said.

Well, that last quote was close, but not exactly perfectly on target.  It should read:

We are looking for converts, not heretics.
