President Obama's Press Secretary, Mr Jay Carney, says they are sticking with Biden for VP.
My wife's take is that the reason Vice President Joe Biden has been so gaffe prone lately is he is trying to get thrown off the ticket. As she says, Mr Biden is not a dumb man.

To proffer the notion that Biden is out, is to all but say, Clinton is in. To remind independents that Hillary Clinton is a viable option now, is to remind them that they like the notion of Clinton in 2016.
To remind anyone of Clinton in a positive sense, is to bolster the Dem brand and diminish the GOP.

The buzz in the "boots on the ground" is Hillary2016.
I was not a Clintonista in 2007, so I'm a bit on the outside here. But, Obama did not bother to dismantle the "Clinton Machine" within the state parties.
With Hillary giveing up Sate at the end of the term, it is widely calculated that she will rest up and then come back with a campaign.
Who really knows?

She has creditials and likeable to older Democrats. Technically her resume is being a spouse to a politician. I know I don't seem like a feminist, but I appreciate the fact when I did work I was not seen as 'a girl' due to changing attitudes. Thank you, ladies.
