Talk of the Town

Lynne and Mimi announced today that they are closing up shop.

Shocking, but not as shocking as the announcement at the US Army's very own DOT mil web site that the Army is going back to the old frontier Stetson as headgear for it's 1.1 million members.  Cav troops were immediately up in arms.

The best was when my son called home and asked if we were watching TV.  It seems a UFO was hovering over the Capitol.

Friend called, saying that an armored car had crashed in the Merrimack River and money had spilled out.

I calmly asked, "In NH?" Then added, "Because if it happened downstream, I don't care."

The question is, what are the Perfumed Princes in the US Senate going to do?  Is there to be no compromise toward getting the deficit and debt under control?  Is it their view that those children in the Lower House should just roll over?

To quote your buddy, Eric Cantor:

**The House is scheduled to conclude its legislative business for the week no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7.  Members are advised, however, that the current CR expires on Friday, April 8, and continued funding will be contingent upon Senate action.**

The House beats to Boehner's drum.

The Dems double dog dare Cantor.

Pence is a camera whore. Must have the same Hollywood publicist as Bachmann.

Campaigning on empty promises to the bumper sticker braintrust is easy. Gubminting is hard.
