The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Have We Come to This?

Here is a post by the Instapundit.
Parents Sue D.A. for Charging Their 6-Year-Old Son With a Felony After He Played Doctor With a 5-Year-Old Girl.  But no one should be shielded by their office from consequences for this kind of jackassery. And there certainly seem to be a lot of rotten officials in Wisconsin.
Have we come to this?  Are parents unable to talk to each other, across the fence, about what is going on?  Must the government supervise every interaction?

Of course we've come to this, and much worse. In a society that for decades has demanded a law to permit or restrict virtually every aspect of human life, this is the inevitable result. America has advertised itself as a "nation of laws" and if you have them, you have to follow them, even if common sense dictates otherwise. Hey..the law is the law...rules are rules. WI is a microcosm of the rest of the US and where we are and are going.

Oh...BTW....where did the little girl, her brother, and the accused kid get the idea of "butt doctor?" Where were the parents in the lead up to this?? I'd bet substantial money that were someone to do some digging, the "well placed" parents and Aunt are not the staunch puritan citizens that they portray.
