The EU

Google says the EU requires a notice of cookie use (by Google) and says they have posted a notice. I don't see it. If cookies bother you, go elsewhere. If the EU bothers you, emigrate. If you live outside the EU, don't go there.

Sequestration—Today's View


For John, BLUF:  The big Federal budget cut in January has come to the attention of the Chattering Class.  Nothing to see here; just move along.

The New Yorker finds Sequestration, which is due to be implemented on 2 January.  No solutions offered.

If the Incumbent loses the 6 November Presidential Race, what would be his incentive to fix this before 2 January, patriotism aside?  I will grant you his place in history.
