The maths doesn’t add up; this is just sinking capital into a loss making project. If you’re going to use the power of the state to do that, then you shouldn’t be surprised that this country is getting poorer.This is about a plan in Britain to build a new high speed rail line.

My exact opinion on why casinos (no wealth produced) are inferior to almost any other industry you can name and support as an alternative. We have to get more people into government who understand this logic and can apply it despite lobbyist graft temptation to its contrary.
