During the last three election cycles, Bain employees have given Democratic candidates and party committees more than $1.2 million. The vast majority of that sum came from senior executives.I guess this is reflective of the inability of Republican candidates to articulate the case for capitalism.
Republican candidates and party committees raised over $480,000 from senior Bain executives during that time period.
And, you know that this is a long tradition, going back to the founding of the Massachusetts Bay Coloney. Otherwise, why would English venture capitalists (known as adventurers in the day) have underwritten those voyages? It should be obvious that it was to found a place for Democrats to live. It is true that for a while they lost out, as Republicans took control, but that has now all been reversed, except for Scott Brown.

Actually....there was a core switch in dogma back in the 1800's when the then Dems were actually pitching modern day Republican planks and the Reps were really Dems back den......
Just a point.....
And Henry was just fine with New World capitalism.....just as long as the fruits came home to him....
The rub came when those self absorbed colonists decided to keep it for themselves......and the result back then is amazingly....stunningly...similar to what happens today when some "free thinker" decides not to pay the tax..........
