Time is short for making comments on the first of four issues about "declassification" of government documents, but comments have been invited. If you go here you can see the blog and register to make comments.
This is the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and they are hosting four separate blog opportunities (over a dozen days) for the Public Interest Declassification Board of the National Archives. (I actually have a photo ID from the National Archives, from when I was doing some research there a year ago.)
Why do you care? Because democracy requires open government and open government means access to all the information. Declassification of government documents is part of gaining that access.
Here is a chance to tell the White House what you think!
